Caladium Plants
The leaves of this plant are full of beauty .It does well in low light and should be planted in a 5/8 inch tub .Too much sunlight burns the leaves and the color fades .Good light, air and should be completely dry means the soil should be slightly wet .Water should be given 2 days in a week .In winter, this plant mostly dies .But its tubers survive .If the plant dies, then the leaves or branches should be cut and kept with the tub and water should be stopped .Then after 8/10 days after raising it in a pot there is no harm .This plant is good in hot and rainy season .
Soil preparation : Soil 30%, sand 30%, vermicompost or manure 30%, cocopeat 10% .At the bottom of the pot, two or three large pieces of brick and a thin layer of sand should be placed, then the plant should be planted with potting mix .
